The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.’

Bradford Two28 exists to nurture the work of grassroots community projects that further the growth of the Kingdom of God in the Bradford Metropolitan area.

Though Two28 have a Christian perspective, there is no particular restriction on the nature of work we are able to support, just that it should have a positive impact and will change Bradford for the better. In the past this has included arts projects, homeless projects, youth and children’s work and environmental programmes, among many other things.

As part of the support available, Two28 is able to make small grants to projects that share our vision. We are particularly keen to meet passionate people from any background with a heart for Bradford, who have innovative ideas that are difficult to fund by other means. When we get involved with Christian work we like to see the church taking a unified approach to the problems faced by the city. We are unable to finance the activities of any single church, favouring instead passionate individuals or groups of lay Christians from different congregations working together.
